Oculoplastics:

Oculoplastics is the medical and surgical practice of treating disorders around the eyes; including the brows, eyelids and orbits (bones around the eyes). This practice includes both cosmetic and functional (medical) aspects.

Cosmetic:

This includes both upper and lower blepharoplasty (lid lifts) with or without fat removal. Botox: around the eyes, around the brows, forehead and mouth
Restylane: along the nasolabial folds, mouth, chin and around the eyes

Functional:

This includes the evaluation and treatment of tumors, both benign and malignant, on the eyelids and within the orbit. An exam of the tearing and other disorders of the lacrimal (tearing) system will be performed. Finally, it includes the evaluation and treatment of eyelid malpositions such as: ptosis (lowering of an upper lid), ectropion (turning out of a lid), entropion (turning in of a lid) and trichiasis (lashes turning into the eye).
